Tsubaki means camelia in Japanese, so think of those gorgeous vivid reds and deep cherry colours with a hint of the delicate orange stamens of the interior and the deep purple of the flower buds before opening. This is the flower of Japanese winter and once was representative of a noble death among Japanese warriors and samurai!! These days it is a sign of love for something...it reminds me of our own little garden in Onomichi that I LOVE and know you will too!
Matches with the Murasaki arms...could be worn with the Murasaki gilet but the Murasaki bibs could look a bit off.
